how to get there

In its operation it focuses on preserving the 140-year long traditions of the craft and on promoting local products and the town as the Polish capital of wicker weaving. It is located in a building from 1890 and holds permanent historical, archaeological and ethnographic exhibitions, as well as temporary presentations of wickerware and artistic wickerwork; it also houses an art gallery. Visitors can find out here about the intricacies of weaving, participate in wicker weaving workshops and in annual outdoors wicker weaving sessions, and even admire here wicker jewellery and wicker fashion shows.
