V Lasowiacy Culture Festival

The organizers cordially invite you to a special celebration of folk culture — the 5th edition of the Lasowiacy Culture Festival!

Get ready for four summer weekends packed with vibrant events. From July 6 to 27, 2025, northern Podkarpacie will come alive with music, dance, and the aromas of traditional cuisine.

The program features numerous events at a wide range of venues, festival contests, and even more opportunities to immerse yourself in the many facets of Lasowiacy culture — from rituals and crafts to the region’s culinary heritage.

LASOWIACY CULTURE FESTIVAL PROGRAM:

July 6, 2025 (Sunday)
Poręby Dymarskie – Parish Church of St. Stanislaus and St. Adalbert

• 9:50 AM – Horse-drawn carriage procession of invited guests, accompanied by the Majdan Królewski band, to the parish church.

• 10:30 AM – Lasowiacy-style Mass with musical accompaniment by the Majdan Królewski band.

Kolbuszowa – Open-Air Museum of Folk Culture
Inauguration of the 5th Lasowiacy Culture Festival

• 10:30 AM–12:30 PM – Culinary workshops

• 11:00 AM–4:00 PM – Hands-on workshops: beekeeping, pottery, embroidery, painting, paper-flower making, music; demonstrations of traditional farm work; screenings of films about Lasowiacy culture

• 2:00–4:00 PM – Performances by Lasowiacy bands, a group inspired by Lasowiacy folklore, and a dramatic presentation about Emilia Chmiel

• 4:00–4:45 PM – Official opening ceremony of the festival

• 4:45–7:15 PM – A spectacle on pottery beliefs, storytelling, Lasowiacy dance demonstration (including children’s games)

• 7:15–8:00 PM – Dance workshop

• 8:00–9:00 PM – Open-air dance party with Lasowiacy bands
