The original recipe was developed at Kresowa Osada in 2014, drawing inspiration from old Polish kresowa recipes and enriched with the chef's own details.

 

Szwaby: Large dumplings made from grated and boiled potatoes, filled with cottage cheese and potatoes, generously topped with cracklings (vegetarian version available without cracklings). This dish originates from the village of Reichau (now Podlesie) and is an excellent example of regional cuisine.

 

Nettle Soup: This unique soup with carrot noodles is made from freshly picked upper nettle leaves from the nearby forest. It's a healthy and aromatic option that will surely appeal to lovers of natural flavors.

Cztery Stawy is a unique restaurant located by picturesque ponds in Ruda Różaniecka, surrounded by the Solska Forest. In the spirit of culinary tourism, unusual, homemade dishes of local cuisine are served here, mainly based on fish from their own ponds, in harmony with the surrounding nature.

On one of them, there's an island with an inn charmingly named “Under the Lucky Carp.” The absolute hit here is pierogi with carp filling, topped with butter and mushrooms. The restaurant operates in the summer, and outside of this season, you are invited to the nearby Glamour Restaurant.
