Did you know that the upper section of the San River is one of the best places for fly fishing in Europe?

Yes, it is. It is this river that periodically hosts both national and international competitions - the World and European Fly Fishing Championships. And here on this special area, also some special rules apply - only the fly and no kill method - i.e. catch and release.

Certainly, every angler has dreams they wish would come true. They are born slowly, and for some the dream is a big fish, for others an unforgettable fishing trip, but one thing is certain - all of them can be fulfilled at the San river.

The San is a river that abounds in many species of fish

Including the most sought-after ones like brook trout, grayling and Danube salmon.

There was mention of the upper section and the fly method, and in the middle and lower section of the river, where barbel already reigns, accompanied by chub, mumps, pike, pikeperch, perch and asp, other fishing methods such as spinning, ground and float are also allowed.

The river is beautiful in all its sections

The wide, rushing, wild current, sometimes even raging, as it breaks through the Bieszczady Mountains, meanders around the hills of the Foothills to enter a completely different land after Przemyśl - a wide valley with numerous swampy meadows and an oxbow lake.

Big, beautiful fish, a magnificent river with surrounding wildlife and unforgettable views - all this awaits those who come to fish, so we invite you to the San.
