Chotyniec
37-552 Młyny
This is one of the few Greek Catholic tserkovs in Poland which have survived the turmoil of history and are still in operation. It stands out for its unique silhouette and harmonious structure. Inside you can see impressive polychrome ornaments from 1735 and 1772, with a painting of the Final Judgment. The iconostasis from 1671 comprises an icon of the Mother of God, the miracle maker, attracting numerous pilgrims. In 2013 the church was entered onto the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
