Nowa Dęba developed with the establishment of the Factory Ammunition Plant No. 3. The history of city is strictly linked with the development project called Central Industrial Region, carried out in the 1930s
In Nowa Dęba you should visit the Museum of Christmas Glass Baubles. This private collection comprises thousands of exhibits displayed on Christmas trees. Some of them are decorated to represent specific styles featuring e.g. American, Norwegian or Victorian ornaments. A separate group consists of decorations representing the shape of the most attractive landmarks of the Podkarpackie, such as the castle in Krasiczyn and palace in Łańcut. During a guided tour of the museum visitors can learn about the specific exhibits, and about the process of making and decorating glass baubles. You can also try your hand in decorating glass baubles and order an ornament with a special dedication.
If you feel like taking a walk, you will definitely appreciate the area around the artificial lake, a perfect place for Nordic Walking, jogging, roller blading and cycling. Children can have fun at a playground in the form of a pirate ship.
A great attraction for those interested in military artefacts, the event called Militariada is an opportunity to see military vehicles, listen to an army orchestra and find out about various combat related products.
