how to get there

One of its districts is Rozwadów, formerly a town, which was founded by Gabriel Rozwadowski in 1690. It was owned by his family, and then from the early 1700s by the Lubomirski family. In Rozwadów you should visit the Regional Museum located in an old mansion built by the latter owners of the town in 1786 in neo-classicist style, trendy in those times. The museum holdings are divided into four sections: archaeology, ethnography, history and art. In the courtyard you can see an exposition called Tactile Gallery, comprising 24 stone sculptures created by Polish and Ukrainian artists. Visitors can explore works of art using the sense of touch. The exhibits include realistic sculptures and works appealing to the audience’s imagination.

A perfect place for a stroll, the park in Charzewice was established in the 18th century. Here you can admire interesting species, and a number of ancient trees, including six recognized as monuments of nature.
