During the dance there is the opportunity to learn traditional dances under the supervision of a dance instructor. The usual modest refreshments are included in the ticket price.

Buy now offerWhat is a dancing event in the Ethnocenter of the Krosno Region like?
Join us at the Ethnocenter of the Krosno Region, where you can dance the shtieter, extraordinary oberek, old polka or the cross of Krosno to the accompaniment of live traditional music performed by regional folk bands.
Dancing events, i.e. meetings with live music performed by instrumental ensembles in a traditional line-up, are organized periodically. In the summer season, the events are organized on the square in front of the Ethnocenter, and when the weather conditions are less favourable, in the wedding hall.
We invite everyone to participate in the event - both those who can already dance and those who want to learn the choreographies of traditional dances.
Depending on the skill level of the participants, we offer the following options:
- for beginners with an instructor,
- advanced, where the didactic element is limited to recalling patterns and dance forms.
The events are accompanied by the sounds of non-stylized varieties of "legless" and "shaking" polka as well as famous street stewards. You can also dance the popular Krosno folk dances: the so-called krzyżok, sliding or Kowol (blacksmith).
