Dubiecko its beautiful location, this is an excellent place for those into hiking and cycling trips
Stone castle was built by Stadnicki. When the Krasicki family lived here, the residence in Dubiecko went through many changes; the castle was reconstructed and was laid out an English garden. One can still admire the 400 years old oaks.
In the 18th century, called the age of philosophers, Ignacy Krasicki, the bishop of Warmia and archbishop of Gniezno, was born in the castle. He was a poet and publicist, one of the main representatives of Enlightenment in Poland.
At present the building is home to Zamek Dubiecko hotel and restaurant. The latter is located on the first floor of the main building. A stone-walled treasury room with stylish chairs and table as well as fragments of old wall paintings make a big impression on visitors.
