These are the well-preserved remains of Jamno Szybiaki- the name of the bird comes from the village of Jamna, where the fossil was found, and from the name of its finder, Robert Szybiak. Other equally interesting sights include the bones of prehistoric mammoths, reindeer and rhinoceros. Tourists’ attention will also be attracted by snails, mussels and mountain crystals.
The museum is an ideal place for a family trip and to get to know the prehistory of Podkarpacie.
