HOW TO GET THERE

The numerous bridges on the route, sharp arches and steep climbs are the result of the varied topography. Moreover, Pogórzanin passes through forests and arable fields, and sometimes the tracks are arranged so closely to houses that one has the impression that we have entered someone's garden. In addition, on summer days, the ride takes place in special carriages without glass panes, called “letniaki” which make that experience even nicer.

The journey begins in Przeworsk and ends at the station in Dynów. On the way, it stops in the following towns: Urzejowice, Krzeczowice, Kańczuga, Łopuszka Wielka, Manasterz, Zagórze, Hadle Szklarskie, Jawornik Polski, Szklary and Bachórz. The entire route is 46 km long.

The railway was built at the beginning of the 20th century to transport goods. Over the years, it also carried thousands of passengers and today is a tourist attraction.
