There are many places worth visiting in Przeworsk

Przeworsk

how to get there

Basilica of the Holy Spirit built in 1430-1473 is an unquestionable attraction. Inside you can admire the high altar with a Gothic crucifix from 1530-1540 with a sculpture of the Crucified Christ, baptismal font shaped like a Gothic chalice, ambo from 1713, made of wood, richly carved and gilded and covered with polychrome ornaments. The most important feature here is the chapel of the Holy Sepulchre, a replica of the chapel in Jerusalem.

You should also visit the Pastewnik Inn open-air museum, where you can actually get accommodation and enjoy a meal in one of the old wooden buildings, typical for the Przeworsk area. Visitors should not miss the 17th century larch manor house in Krzeszowice which today holds a hotel. In the manorial premises there is also a restaurant located in an 18th century roadhouse where you can enjoy Polish traditional dishes.

Two green elephants, at the junction of Piłsudskiego, Krakowska and Jagiellońska Streets, are the town’s trademark symbol.

If you feel like taking a trip, you will definitely enjoy a ride on Pogórzanin narrow gauge train, travelling from Przeworsk to Dynów.
