HOW DOES THE FOLK BACHELORETTE PARTY LOOK LIKE?

Every bride dreams of spending the last moments before the wedding in a unique way. The original bachelorette party organized in the Ethnocenter of the Krosno Region guarantees unforgettable moments combined with the celebration of women and community. This modern journey into tradition can take place in one of 3 extraordinary versions:

  1. Stove room – a wedding cake
The first scenario tests the bride’s hostess skills. Joint fun with baking a wedding cake provides fun moments and memories for years to come. In the past, a yeast cake made of delicate wheat flour would foretell the success of the marriage. If it grew as it should the spouses would have a long, happy life, and if it didn’t, he heralded marital problems. A qualified housewife by the name of Fiona watches closely over the success of baking while preparing lemonade and sandwiches with other ladies, making the evening even more pleasant. Then the fun moves to the media zone, where attractions such as a virtual fitting room with folk costumes of different regions, as well as a karaoke, a ride in a ladder card and many more await. This will surely satisfy anyone who wonders how to arrange an interesting folk bachelorette party.

  1.  Handicraft workshop - Wedding rod and wreath plaiting
Traditionally, during a folk bachelorette party, brides decorated a wedding rod, i.e. a branch with ribbons and tissue paper ornaments. The rod - a symbol of masculinity, was in the hands of the foreman during the wedding, which the groom had to buy out. As part of this scenario, the bride's task will be to decorate the commemorative rod with the available materials. Additionally, each participant will weave a wreath for himself (seasonally from fresh flowers, off-season from felt, tissue paper, and macrame elements). The lady who will weave the most beautiful wreath will get married next. After that, the fun will move to the media zone, where attractions such as a virtual fitting room with folk costumes of different regions, as well as a cinema, karaoke, a ride in a ladder cart and many more. This form of celebration and the power of additional attractions will surely guarantee that it will be an unforgettable folk bachelorette party.

  1. Weaving workshop - an evening with a tapestry
A makatka is most often an embroidered picture that is created from a combination of a symbolic drawing and the written word. It was supposed to emphasize the cleanliness and sense of the beauty of the hostess, but also decorate and teach. In the case of this scenario, the task will be to design a poster with an invented sentence together for the future bride and the housewife. Then, as in the previous versions, the fun will move to the media zone, where you will find attractions such as a virtual fitting room with folk costumes of different regions, as well as a karaoke, a ride in a ladder cart and many more. It is an idea for a bachelorette party, after which not only will you get wonderful memories, but also perform the work of your own hands, which will stay with you forever.
