Founded in the mid-1300s, later the town became renowned as a residence of its consecutive owners - families of Pilecki, Stadnicki, Lubomirski and Potocki
Today in Łańcut you can admire the castle and park complex, also comprising 18 other buildings, such as stables, carriage house, outbuilding, orangery (currently winter garden). Featuring the large 33 hectare landscape park, the establishment ranks among the most impressive former aristocratic residences in Poland.
Every year the castle hosts Łańcut Music Festival, an event known not only in Poland but also across the world.
