how to get there

At the beginning of the 19th century, the property was acquired by the Załuski family and became their family seat from 1837. A new eclectic manor house, also known as  winter palace, was built between 1875 and 1883 by Filip Roman Pokutyński. The old manor was retained and used as a guest house.

The first garden, established in the 18th century, featured a quartered layout and four ponds. In the 19th century, the garden was redesigned into a landscaped garden preserving  a partial geometric layout with three axes. The concept of the gardens and the orchard was created by Amelia Załuska. She also designed the layout of flower beds next to the manor house. Today we can still see here numerous monumental trees, as well as ponds and a rotunda-shaped orangery.
