Organized by a Lemko in an old Lemko farmstead from the late 19th century, the Lemko Culture Museum in Zyndranowa quickly became the heart of Lemko culture in this part of the Low Beskids, preserving its traditions for future generations.

At the Lemko Culture Museum in Zyndranowa, organized in a historic Lemko farmstead, visitors can see not only how the Lemkos once lived but also everyday objects and traditional costumes of this ethnic group. A visit here adds a significant element to the multicultural picture of the Low Beskids.

FROM RUSAL TO JANA – A CELEBRATION OF TRADITION

The Lemko Culture Museum in Zyndranowa not only preserves but also revives Lemko culture. One of the most important events organized by the museum for years is the Lemko Tradition Festival "From Rusal to Jana," held at the end of July. It is a unique opportunity to experience Lemko culture in the Low Beskids in its most authentic form - dancing to the sounds of Lemko music, tasting native delicacies, and admiring the skill of regional craftsmen.

SACRED AND WAR MEMORIALS

The museum also holds a rich collection of sacred exhibits, including fragments of cast iron crosses, liturgical robes, and copies of icons, which are an integral part of Lemko culture.

Additionally, interesting for military enthusiasts, the museum has gathered war memorabilia from the actions at the Dukla Pass, such as uniforms, helmets, weapons, and shrapnel. These exhibits testify to the difficult history of the once multicultural Low Beskids.
