Horyniec-Zdrój also offers bicycle trails, including the popular Green Velo Eastern Bicycle Route, opportunities for walks in and around the Spa Park, and interesting historical sites. fAIRYtALE IN HORYNIEC-ZDRÓJ

The Roztocze area is home to a spa famous for Poland's richest mud resources. This spa is Horyniec-Zdrój. The palace of the Poninskis is noteworthy here. Now it houses the headquarters of a sanatorium with a graceful name - Bajka (Fairy Tale), the building of the court theater, as well as the spa church and the Baroque complex of the Franciscan monastery.

Mud packs, which made Horyniec-Zdrój spa famous, are invaluable for musculoskeletal diseases, post-traumatic conditions and joint degeneration. It is worth mentioning that it is one of the best in Poland, and is obtained from the local "Podemszczyzna" deposit.

Mentioning the benefits of Horyniec-Zdrój, we can't forget about the sulfide and hydrogen sulfide waters, which King John III Sobieski used here in the old days. Bathing in this water is offered by the unique swimming pool at Uzdrowisko Horyniec Sp. z o.o. The properties of this water improve overall mobility.

You can also take advantage of health benefits at two other sanatoriums. One of them is the KRUS Farmers' Rehabilitation Center, which features an indoor swimming pool called "Aquatic World," housing a rehabilitation and recreational pool, water slides, a salt cave, and a Finnish sauna. The second sanatorium is "Uzdrowisko Horyniec" In addition to the mentioned pool, it offers the opportunity for complimentary tasting of the medicinal sulphur-sulfide water called "Róża" and natural water "Horynianka."

In addition to the treatments, those who like to spend their time actively can take advantage of the bicycle rentals at the Communal Cultural Center and take a ride on the Green Velo Trail to see the nearby UNESCO-listed Radruż Orthodox Church or to Narol to admire the beautiful palace. Those less active can enjoy Nordic walking poles and stroll, e.g., in the Spa Park, where bridges, landings, an amphitheater and a pump house are embedded among the greenery.
