FROM DIGGING TO DRILLING is a fascinating, full of valuable and original monuments route through the world's oldest oil mine.

When starting the journey to the amazing world of the oil industry, visitors will learn about the theories of the creation of crude oil and the location of mineral deposits in Poland. Thanks to multimedia and holograms, tourists will travel to the era of pioneers of the oil industry, and together with Ignacy Łukasiewicz, they will learn about the meanders of work on the distillation of crude oil. The preserved 19th-century excavations will show their bubbling richness. Only here you can see crude oil in its natural state! The buildings of the old mine will reveal old secrets, and modern technologies will allow you to meet and listen to nineteenth-century workers. On the route, you will be able to learn about the history of the oil industry from its birth to the present day. The guide will talk about the history of drilling, geology and geophysics. At the end of the trip, the visitors will be able to see the multimedia gas room where in its basement they will learn how to search for, extract and distribute ''blue fuel''- natural gas.

The average route FROM DIGGING TO DRILLING includes:

- going along the educational path (boards: '';What Is Crude Oil'', ''How Crude Oil Was Created'',
''Products Obtained From Crude Oil'', ''Map of Mineral Deposits In Poland''),
- visiting the oldest part of the mine (obelisk, ''Franek'' mine, ''Janina'' mine, manual drilling rig,
Canadian drilling rig with a portable engine),
