Castle in Przecław was erected in the 16th century by the Ligęza family
In 1578 the castle was remodelled in a Renaissance style, and its system of fortifications was reinforced. The 19th century brought about a reconstruction of the castle, when the building was transformed into a Romantic structure with neo-Renaissance and neo-Gothic features. Despite the numerous reconstructions, the oldest part of the castle preserved the Renaissance style, featuring the distinctive attic wall.
The castle is located within a lovely English garden with impressive landscape features.
Today the castle is used for commercial purposes.
