The larch wood shingled church was founded by the princely family of Ossoliński. The church features unique architecture (e.g. arcades surrounding the building on three sides) as well as rich interior furnishings and polychrome decorations - the latter originally painted by Vlastimil Hofman, a disciple of Malczewski and Wyczółkowski, and later considerably altered.
