Sieniawa is a small town established in 1676 by Mikołaj Sienawski, a Royal Standard-Bearer. It features a beautiful palace and park, in the past owned by the Sieniawski, and then the Czartoryski family
You can admire here a palace, originally built before 1709 in a Baroque style by the Sienawski family, later altered by the Czartoryski family during 1727–1740, and then restored from ruin after the war. You can also see other remnants of the old establishment, such as an annex building, pavilion, guardhouse, entrance gate, and a stone bridge over the moat. The palace is located within a large (19 hectare) park, originally geometric, then expanded in the 1800s and redesigned into a landscaped park, which today also is a perfect place for a stroll. The palace once hosted visits of such renowned guests as Tadeusz Kościuszko and Emperor of Russia Alexander I. Today the historical building holds a hotel and restaurant.
