Greek Catholic tserkov in Chmiel was erected in 1904-1906
The old furnishings have not survived. In the period between 1947 and 1951 it was an Orthodox church, after the local population was relocated - it was abandoned, and used as a storehouse. In 1968 it was assigned to burn down at the film set for the TV series "Colonel Wołodyjowski" - but fortunately it was prevented. Today - a Roman Catholic church.
