The Orthodox Church of the Presentation of the Lord is an exceptional place of worship with a rich history dating back to the 15th century. The present building, erected in 1837 as a Greek Catholic church, impresses visitors with its traditional log-built architecture and distinctive tower topped with an onion-shaped dome. Inside, the church contains a valuable 19th-century iconostasis and decorative ornamental and figurative polychrome paintings, emphasizing the unique atmosphere of historic church art. The building is also an interesting example of the blending of Eastern and Western influences in sacred architecture, while its history is complemented by the contemporary free-standing bell tower located beside the church.
