Buy now offerThose interested in firefighters’ uniforms will find formal, training and combat uniforms from the interwar period, the 1950s and 1970s here. Fire extinguishing equipment such as: fire hoses, nozzles, collectors, dividers, floats, suction strainers, and keys for connectors will also arouse interest. The exhibition is complemented by smaller firefighting memorabilia, files and documents from the history of volunteer fire brigades and a rich collection of archival photographs.
The establishment of the Museum of Firefighting in Przeworsk was due to a local activist - Leon Trybalski, who has collected items related to firefighting for years. The facility was opened in 1974.The former carthorses stable, located in the Palace and Park Complex, was chosen as its seat.
Currently, the museum, the palace and the surrounding park form the Museum in Przeworsk. The Palace and Park Complex is the city's greatest attraction.
