The Firefighting Museum in Przeworsk is the second-largest firefighting museum in Poland in terms of the size of its collection. It features a unique collection of portable hand-operated fire pumps, bucket pumps, and four-wheeled horse-drawn pumps dating from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The artifacts, documents, and photographs gathered in the museum present the history of fire protection services and fire brigades from the Przeworsk County and the Przemyśl region, from their beginnings in the mid-19th century to the present day.

Children can also independently operate selected firefighting equipment. It is also worth mentioning that every year the museum organizes the regional art competition “Contemporary Knights of St. Florian.” Through creating artwork, children learn about the wide range of tasks currently carried out by the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Brigades to save lives, protect health and property, as well as to promote fire safety principles and safe behavior in everyday life—especially safe use of roads.
