Zarzecze is a large village established in the 12th-13th century. In the late 1800s it became an official seat of a large estate of the Dzieduszycki family
The building has classicist structure, with some Romantic features, unusual shape and embellishments. Surrounded with a large English-style park it ranks among the most impressive aristocratic residences in the region. The establishment was part of the landed estate of the Dzieduszycki family, and was owned by them until 1944. The property was then acquired by the State Treasury. The palace was restored and regained its former splendour following long-lasting conservation efforts. In 2007, the Dzieduszycki Museum, branch of the Museum in Jarosław, was established in the rooms on the first floor of the palace.
