One part of Cisna commune belongs to the Bieszczady National Park and the other part is located within the Ciśniańsko-Wetliński Landscape Reserve
There are many hiking trails leading from Cisna to the mountains meadows. The highest elevations here include Mount Połonina Wetlińska with its summit called Roh (1255 metres above sea level), as well as Mounts Smerek (1222 m), Jasło (1153 m), and Łopiennik (1069 m).
The biggest tourist attractions here include the Bieszczady Forest Railway which leads from Cisna to Wetlina and Wola Michowa.
In the centre of Cisna village there is a pub called Siekierezada, a must-visit place for those in love with the Bieszczady. One of its frequent guests was Majster Bieda, whose name is well-known to many Poles from a ballad written by Wojtek Bellon. Each year in August Cisna hosts an event for fans of poetry and music.
