The garden comprises an area of 308 hectares and is located at the outskirts of the Sandomierz Valley. It features a large collection of tree and shrub species. The largest chestnuts and larches are 70 years old. The Arboretum is home to over 3,000 plant species and 120 species of vertebrates, and nearly 40 species of birds.
Within the garden premises you can also visit a 19th century fort, part of Przemyśl Fortress, as well as Natural History Museum and Sensual Garden with a collection of plants attractive for the sense of touch and smell. A visit to this garden is particularly enjoyed by disabled people, especially those with vision impairment.
