The thermal currents occurring here enable the so-called thermalling. At present Bezmiechowa is home to a gliding strip administered by the Rzeszów University of Technology Gliding Centre. It is located on top of Mount Kamionka (631 metres above sea level) within the Słonne Mountains. From here you can get a wonderful view to the Bieszczady, including the grass-covered mountain tops in the Bieszczady National Park.
