A TOURIST ATTRACTION FOR THE BRAVEST IN THE BIESZCZADY MOUNTAINS

The Rope Park in Wańkowa is a place for people who love active outdoor recreation. The longest course in Poland features three difficulty levels, adapted both for beginners and for experienced thrill-seekers: green – 120 meters, yellow – 180 meters, red – 355 meters. Plenty of fun and excitement await the brave, as the park covers 1 hectare and offers a total course length of 655 meters with as many as 42 obstacles—the highest suspended at 12 meters above the ground. Thanks to terrain elevation changes of up to 30 meters, visitors can admire beautiful views along the way. Safety is the top priority, which is why a Continuous Belay System has been implemented, making it impossible to unclip while on the course. The entire route runs through a natural, forested ravine, and completing it is a challenge for the most persistent adventurers. The park is open during the summer season.

A PLACE FULL OF INTERESTING ATTRACTIONS

The Wańkowa Rope Park is located next to the Bieszczad.Ski Wańkowa Ski Resort. In the winter season, this place becomes a unique ski resort, while in summer it turns into a hub full of attractions. Bieszczad.Ski offers a ride on the longest double zipline in Poland, measuring 1,350 meters in length and suspended 48 meters above the ground, reaching speeds of over 100 km/h. The center also features the longest tubing track in Poland—a 370-meter course that allows both younger and older visitors to slide down on inflatable tubes along a specially prepared track. Another exciting attraction available here is downhill rides on off-road scooters. Specially prepared downhill routes of approximately 1,650 meters in length are a unique experience for everyone who loves adrenaline. For a moment of relaxation, visitors can stop by the restaurant located at the foot of the slope.

WHAT TO SEE IN THE BIESZCZADY MOUNTAINS

The Bieszczady Mountains offer a wealth of attractions, ensuring that everyone will find something for themselves. The closeness of nature can be experienced during hiking trips in the Bieszczady National Park, where you can conquer Tarnica, Mała and Duża Rawka, or wander across vast mountain meadows known as połoniny. Lake Solina combines the soothing calm of water with numerous water attractions, as well as the opportunity to admire the surroundings from the observation tower on Mount Jawor or from the gondola cable car. For the youngest visitors, attractions include Bieszczadzka Furia and the Tajemnicza Solina park. The Bieszczady region also attracts history enthusiasts, who can explore it among numerous Orthodox churches, churches, and the ruins of old castles. The atmosphere of past eras is preserved in museums such as the Museum of Rural Architecture in Sanok—the largest open-air museum in Poland—the Museum of Bieszczady History in Czarna Górna, The Boyko Culture Museum in Myczków and the modern Bieszczady Cultural Heritage Center FANTO in Ustrzyki Dolne. One cannot overlook the region’s unique cuisine—proziaki, fuczki, and Lemko dumplings. Active visitors can enjoy the Rail-Cycle Draisinies in Uherce Mineralne, numerous hiking trails and cycling routes, and observation towers, as well as ski slopes, ski-touring routes, and sleigh rides in winter. Art lovers will find inspiration and relaxation at the Zdzisław Beksiński Gallery in Sanok, the Icon Gallery and the Bieszczady Barak Gallery in Czarna Górna.
