The history of glass art in Krosno dates back many centuries. The city has always been associated with glass production, and its glassmaking traditions are incredibly rich. The first mentions of glass production in the city come from the 14th century. At that time, the city became an important center of glass production in Poland. In the following centuries, the local glass art developed, and local craftsmen gained increasing fame and recognition.
